The human need for touch is undeniable, and hugging is one great way of expressing love and connection to those around us. As a result, people have embraced, shook hands, bumped knuckles, kissed, held, and brushed-up-against throughout history. Even back in biblical times, there are numerous examples of people physically connecting with Jesus Christ after His resurrection. These encounters are significant and bring the spirit because they demonstrate how a touch motivated by love can communicate the message, "I am here," in a universal way—regardless of gender, race, or language.

In fact, the search for Christ, the journey of seeking and questioning and exploring, is a powerful and transformative experience. It is a journey that intensifies the highs of life and helps us find meaning in the lows (and trust me, there's a lot of both). Whether we are sure of our faith or still searching, the search for Christ is one that leads us to a deeper understanding of ourselves, the world around us, and our purpose being in it.

Walking on Water
All we had to do then, was shoot it. And though the shoot itself was enjoyable, the power truly laid in the breakthrough moment of surrender that took place in the music studio for me. Perhaps, at least for me with Walking on Water, the first step is actually the idea and the true journey is the cycle of faith, focus, and repentance.

It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that judging someone will help them to see their mistakes. However, most people are already aware of their shortcomings. Jesus offered this woman something much more powerful: space to feel safe and the absence of judgment. This experience inspired me to create more Jesus prints, with the intention of spreading love and healing to everyone who encounters them.
